Some people made bread during the pandemic, but I…

[vc_row][vc_column][fwp_borano_title title=”Fuck the sourdough, I had a real project.” link=”” tag=”h3″ title_pos=”text-center” absolute_center=”0″ separator=”1″ separator_pos=”separator” separator_m_bottom=”mb20″ title_color=”” extra_class=””][vc_column_text]Anyone who thinks that websites aren’t an epic metric fuckton of work has obviously never made a website.

I daresay most people who look at beautiful websites probably have no idea how much time and energy it requires to get them to a visually pleasing state. It’s insane. I’ve poured several hundred (thousand?) hours into this new site and my member’s site, GoddessSnow.com, and it seems like the list of things to do with them is never-ending. For those of you who remember, I was a web designer first and a dominatrix second, so I’ve always done my websites myself. You know, in addition to everything else because I’m a USDA Prime Grade A control freak.

However.. getting my blog back up and running was a very important step and I’m quite terrible at celebrating the small successes. So.. hooray, it lives! {cue fanfare}[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”“Wow, I’m excited for you new blog! What’s next?“” font_container=”tag:p|font_size:25px|text_align:left|color:%2381acd1″ google_fonts=”font_family:Annie%20Use%20Your%20Telescope%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” css=”.vc_custom_1613698662123{padding-top: 32px !important;padding-bottom: 32px !important;}”][vc_column_text]The next steps are the last stretch of design updates to my member’s site and accompanied direct clip store, which I’ve unfortunately been handcuffed with since my technical know-how only does not extend past basic programming. The CMS software that runs my members site is hella complicated and not just anyone can modify it. My previous programmer went AWOL at the start of the pandemic, and it was a misery finding someone who could take on this esoteric coding project. One of my dear friends came in as a pinch hitter and things are finally moving along. HOWEVER, we’re finally in the last stages and I’m hopeful we’ll roll out the latest changes in the next few weeks.

Reloading, transcoding, configuring, and testing thousands of videos and photos onto a member’s site was the work of three people over the last 2 years. All the content is now up and functioning correctly with a very devoted membership base, but yours truly is a design perfectionist and everything must be perfect. I know most of my fans don’t care how pretty the site is, you’re just here for my dazzling personality (ahem, massive tits) and the evil genius of my videos, but I CARE and that’s what’s important.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8147″ img_size=”550×309″ add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” css=”.vc_custom_1613697352602{border-radius: 1px !important;}”][vc_custom_heading text=”“But Goddess, what happened to your old sites? Why did you have to rebuild them?“” font_container=”tag:p|font_size:25px|text_align:left|color:%2381acd1″ google_fonts=”font_family:Annie%20Use%20Your%20Telescope%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” css=”.vc_custom_1613698613372{padding-top: 32px !important;padding-bottom: 32px !important;}”][vc_column_text]That’s a very good question, and much of that is tied up in a long story. The short answer is: divorces suck and I learned some very valuable lessons about life, business, and the dangers of not having full control over my work (and money) in the last few years. The most valuable lessons also tend to be the most painful, and I’ve been diligently putting the pieces of my business and dungeon back together ever since. This humpty-dumpty of a project has come a long way and I’m proud to say that this circumstance gave me a unique opportunity to evolve both personally and professionally.

The sites were only one part of this process, which is probably readily apparent if you’ve been following my work over the last decade. New photos, new branding, new fanclub, new content. Yeah, I really like new stuff. Not only did I put together this dynamite, all-female creative team to help produce my content to the level you see now, built all-star pro lineup to go with with my new dungeon, won some awards, and was even the subject of a documentary these last few years.. but more importantly, I learned a great deal about the person I wanted to be.

That is a topic for a longer post, of course, so I’ll avoid the tangent and file the “things I learned over the last 5 years” and the “evolution of a Dominatrix” for a future discussion.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”8012″ img_size=”large” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” css=”.vc_custom_1613698828529{border-radius: 1px !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”“How have you dealt with the pandemic?“” font_container=”tag:p|font_size:25px|text_align:left|color:%2381acd1″ google_fonts=”font_family:Annie%20Use%20Your%20Telescope%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” css=”.vc_custom_1613699751150{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 32px !important;}”][vc_column_text]For someone like me, who is a voracious traveler, adventure seeker, and hardcore extrovert, the pandemic has been especially tough personally. I pride myself on being a caring, responsible part of my community and I take the safety of those around my seriously. So, I did what most of us have done: I stayed the fuck home and just worked on my online empire. I’m a recovering (ahem, still) workaholic and the last year has been many long hours toiling away at my many projects to stave off the existential dread. I work to travel, so when I couldn’t travel.. I just worked.

The pandemic also brought strict protocols for sessions, and for the first time in my career, I wasn’t seeing putting men through their paces in-person on a regular basis. I hadn’t realized how much of a necessary outlet that was for me because it was always present in my life. I felt like a tiger in a cage, pacing the bars, looking for my next meal. I channeled that into videos and online training, but it’s not the same as having your hands on another person’s flesh. I think that resuming normal in-person sessions is the one thing I’m looking forward to most.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I’ve been extremely fortunate with my career, and I have to count my blessings in sex work on a daily basis. I had an existing, well-established brand and a successful video distribution already in place so the loss of in-person sessions didn’t cause as much of a struggle as it has for others. I did an intensive education series for sex workers last year to help build the skills and brands of others who were transitioning to online work and I’m proud of the impact that’s made. But.. I still have two ladies whose salaries rely on me, plus keeping the dungeon and studio (that supports 6 other ladies) afloat while we weather the storm, so it’s been a feat of endurance to keep everything going. So if it looks like it’s easy.. well, it’s not. Also.. cat food is expensive.

Not to mention.. all of you, who also needed an escape from your own pandemic struggles! I’ve tried to carefully craft immersive fantasies for my slaves and fans to lose themselves in, and I’m quite proud of what I’ve created. I’ve had great fun doing in-depth custom videos this year (did you know you can order one of your own?) and that’s been the highlight of each week. I also have some of the very best slaves imaginable who have made this last year much more tolerable, to help stave off the human disconnect.

Now.. with vaccine rollouts coming to the front, it appears the end is in sight. Just a little while longer! We can do this! In the meantime, I recommend indulging in a video fantasy or two and really letting yourself go in enjoyment.

Let the world melt away for a while and focus on serving me, exploring a new kink, satisfying a desire, and maybe.. learning something new about yourself too.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8178″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
